Lunar Gate is a sculptural landmark on CNM’s Rio Rancho campus, envisioned by the artist as a portal that frames
views of the Southwestern landscape and the distant Sandia Mountains. Blending art and interactive sculpture, it invites the CNM community to pause, reflect, connect, and appreciate their environment.

integrated into cnm’s existing campus wellness path, lunar gate serves as both a visual icon and an experiential stop along the wellness route. landscape elements, including a viewing bench, offer moments of respite and mindfulness, reinforcing the sculpture’s connection to wellness, reflection, and a strong sense of place.
